BMW Motorrad has announced the launch of the all-new M 1000 RR in the Indian market. The motorcycle will be sold in two variants – Standard and Competition. The motorcycle will be imported as a completely built-up units (CBU). The bookings have opened across BMW Motorrad India dealerships. BMW Financial Services India will offer customised financial plans for the M 1000 RR. Check out the ex-showroom (India) prices below:

The new M 1000 RR is the first M model from BMW Motorrad in India. It is available in Light White, Racing Blue Metallic, and Racing Red colours. In terms of design, the M 1000 RR benefits from an aerodynamic improvements in the form of clear-coat carbon M winglets and a high windscreen. Other features include a revised chassis design, high performance M brakes, M carbon wheels, a 6.5-inch TFT display and OBD interface, a lightweight M battery, USB charging socket in the rear, powerful integrated LED light units, and heated grips.
The Competition variant further benefits from M GPS-lap trigger, Passenger Kit, Pillion Seat Cover, Carbon Pack (M Carbon Front and Rear Mudguard, M Carbon Upper Fairing Side Panel, M Carbon Tank Cover, M Carbon Chain Guard, M Carbon Sprocket Cover), M Billet Pack (M Engine Protectors, M Brake Lever Folding, M Brake Lever Guard, M Clutch Lever Folding, M Rider Footrest System).
The mechanical specifications include a 999cc, water-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine with the BMW ShiftCam technology that produces 209bhp (156kW) of maximum power at 14,500rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 11,000rpm. The M 1000 RR also gets revised components for the engine, an increased compression and a lightweight exhaust system that is made of titanium. The M 1000 RR can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 3.1 seconds while the top speed has been rated at 306kmph.
The electronic aids include four riding modes Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race as standard while Riding Modes Pro (Race Pro 1-3) are available as optional extra. The Riding Modes Pro are freely programmable and set parameters such as Engine (throttle), Engine Brake, Traction Control, Wheelie-Control, ABS, and ABS Pro. The ‘Pro Modes’ also bring a Launch Control and pit-lane limiter to the motorcycle.
The company will also offer a range of optional equipment and accessories for the M 1000 RR. The motorcycle will come with a standard warranty for three-years/unlimited kilometers. Buyers can opt for an extended warranty for the fourth and fifth year.
