“A typical period cycle is of 28 days. A woman getting periods after 45 days should evaluate herself for hormonal imbalance. Any period with blood loss of less than one day is called oligomenorrhea or scanty periods, also needs evaluation. Thus, if you notice the above signs,
then it is a cause for concern. So, consult your doctor regarding regulating periods,” explains Dr Gaikwad.
